01 — THE STORY
MOTHERHOOD IS ONE OF A KIND EXPERIENCE
It is a unique time that never comes back. The first years with a new baby are unlike anything else. The bond between mother and child is a connection between two people who slowly build a universe of their own. To our children we are icons, and every day with them, however demanding, is one of a kind.
As a photographer and a mother, I believe the photographs from this chapter should be the same – unique, iconic and full of your own universe and emotions. MOTHERMUSES grew out of my own experience of motherhood. My aim is to give maternity and family photographs something more: timelessness, a fashion edge, emotion and movement – everything that defines my work.

MY EXPERIENCE BEHIND THIS CONCEPT
I know from my own experience that having a small baby is a demanding discipline – you are always on call and comfort is off the table. Finding the time and energy to take care of yourself often feels impossible.
That is why I created this experience for every mother: a chance to enjoy her star moment, to be pampered and made beautiful, and to have something to look forward to.
- 01CONSULTATIONWe talk through your vision, the date and the location – the studio, a hotel room or another space.
- 02TAILORED STYLINGWe choose at least three timeless outfits from the client wardrobe.
- 03THE SHOOTMake-up and hair while the baby sleeps, photos while it’s awake. 2–4 hours in total, including preparation.
- 04CHOOSING FROM PREVIEWSWithin 7 days you receive a preview gallery and choose your 10 photographs in your own time.
- 05ARTISTIC RETOUCHINGYour final photographs arrive in an online gallery within 4–6 weeks of your selection.
